| Description | INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS RFP FOR PROCUREMENT OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN REVIEW & CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION SERVICES FOR BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS) AT 220/132KV JHIMPIR-I SUBSTATION 1) National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) is a corporate entity, constituted after restructuring of Power Wing of Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA). NTDC operates and maintains the extra high-voltage power transmission system of 500kV and 220 kV in Pakistan. NTDC intends to engage consultant to carry out ?Design Review, Construction Supervision and Allied Activities including Verification of Contractor?s Invoices, Testing & Commissioning and Services during Defect Liability Period for 20MW/ 20MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as a pilot project which shall be connected at 132kV Busbar of 220/132 kV Jhimpir-I Substation located in Jhimpir Area of Sindh Province.? NTDC invites proposal to provide the consultancy services from local consultant firms/JV (NCB) meeting PEC Standard Guidelines criteria for above works. 2) NTDC requires the services of competent consulting firms with the appropriate capabilities and experience to execute services. A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and procedures described in this RFP. 3) RFP Documents, containing detailed terms and conditions, etc. are available at below mentioned address during office hours : 10:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M. (Monday to Thursday) 10:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M (Friday) Office of the Chief Engineer (Material Procurement & Management), NTDC 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road Lahore, Pakistan Telephone No. 92-42-99202597 4) Price of the Request for Proposals is PKR 3,000/- (Pak Rupees three thousand only). The method of payment for purchase of RFP will be in the form of pay order, bank draft or banker?s/cashier?s cheque in favor of Chief Engineer (MP&M) NTDC. The documents may be collected in person or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of Rs. 1,000/- for domestic delivery. The documents may be sent by courier services. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery in such case. RFP Documents can also be downloaded from www.ntdc.com.pk free of cost. However, purchase of the document prior to proposal submission deadline is mandatory for participation. 5) The Proposals prepared in accordance with the instructions in the RFP must reach at address mentioned at Sr. No. 3 above, on or before 12:00 A.M., Pakistan Standard Time on 28th April, 2022. The technical proposals will be opened the same day at 12:30 P.M. Financial proposals of only technically qualified firms shall be opened.
