| Description | INVITATION FOR BIDS TENDER NO. NOR-114R-2022 PROCUREMENT OF BACKUP ENERGY METERS FOR SMS METERING PROJECT UNDER NTDC OWN RESOURCES 1. National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) a corporate entity constituted after restructuring of WAPDA invites sealed bids from the eligible firms/bidders for Procurement of Backup Energy Meters for SMS Metering Project under NTDC Own Resources on basis of International Competitive Bidding (ICB) through Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure (SSTE). Lot No. Sr. No. Description Qty I 1. Energy Meters, Bidirectional (Import & Export), accuracy class 0.2S as per NTDC specifications P-202:2012. Rating 1A/5A (Selectable) as per NTDC specifications P-202:2012 and NTDC requirements (Annex-E). Note: i. For meters with MDC/MDM other than existing NTDC MDM Server (ISKRA SEP2W), the selected Vendor will provide their Head End and will integrate with existing MDM through development of a software driver, and through API/Middleware/MDM Web Services, the data will be shared with CPPA or any other entity as per requirements of NTDC Management in future. Further, vendor shall bear all costs for getting protocols/procedures from vendor of existing MDM Server used in driver development for integration of their Head End and NTDC existing MDM. Technically Responsive Bidder has to demonstrate the integration of their meter with the existing MDM before the award of the contract. ii. Each Energy meter must have provision of Ethernet, RS-485 and 3G/4G interface. iii. Energy meter should have built-in/Pluggable RS-485 (with standard IEC 62056-21) module to create daisy chain with other meters using RS-485 interfaces available on Ethernet or 3G/4G modules. iv. Energy Meters pluggable/Built-in PTA Approved 3G/4G communication modules (with upward/downward compatibility) along with antennas and compatible with energy meters and compliant as per IEC 61107/COSEM/DLMS and NTDC requirements (Annex-E). 428 2 Built-in/Pluggable Ethernet interface communication modules compatible with meters. Note: In case of built-in modules, communication using different mode (RS-485,3G/4G, Ethernet) shall be ensured. 250 3 Training of Software for NTDC staff (For meters with MDC/MDM other than existing NTDC MDM server) for 3 days to 5 individuals 05 individuals for 3 days. 4 For meters with MDC/MDM other than existing NTDC MDM server, Maintenance / Technical Support of Software for Head End / MDM three (03) years / Three (03) years SLA (Service Level Agreement) 01 2. Price of the bidding documents is Rs. 2,000/-, the method of payment will be by a non-refundable fee in form of bank draft from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favour of Chief Engineer (MP&M) NTDC. The documents may be collected in person or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of Rs. 1,500/- for domestic delivery or US$ 100/- for overseas delivery, the documents may be sent by courier services. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery in such case. The bids, prepared in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents, must reach at above address on or before 23rd June, 2022 at 11:00 AM PST.
