National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) ?the Employer?, intends to get the Works done for Tender No. PD-EHV-20-2022 through NTDC own resources. The Scope of works includes the following: For the Paint Work of 600MVA 500/220kV Auto Transformer Bank T-3 (04 Units 200MVA Each) and 250MVA 220/132kV Auto Transformer T-7 For the Extension Works at 500kV Grid Station Nokhar 2. The Employer invites sealed bids through ?Single Stage Single Envelope Procedure? on Local Competitive Bidding (LCB) basis from eligible firms as defined under IB-3 of Instructions to Bidders of the Bidding Documents, registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and who are on Active Tax payers List of the Federal Board of Revenue and registered with PEC in appropriate category for Electrical EE-04 & EE-05 (with original certificates) as per NTDC specifications (details, types and quantities mentioned in the bidding document). 3. The Employer invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the above scope of Works. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with PEC Single Stage- Single Envelope (SSSE) procedure. 4. Bidding Documents, containing detailed terms and conditions, etc. can be purchased on or before June 10th, 2022 at the following address during office hours (08:00 am to 03:00 pm). A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by an interested Bidder on submission of a written application to the above office upon payment of a non?refundable fee of Rupees 2,000/- from the date of publication of IFB. The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of Project Director (EHV-I) NTDC Lahore. 5. The Bidder should have experience of at least 01 similar nature of paint works of transformer at 220kV or above voltage level Grid Stations alongwith documentary evidence for which the contractor/bidder will submit completion certificates for the issuance of bidding documents. 6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount not less than 2% of total bid price in Pak. Rupees in the form of Deposit at Call or a Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan in favor of the Employer valid for a period up to Twenty-Eight (28) days beyond the bid validity date. 7. The bids prepared in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents must be delivered to the above office on or before June 13th, 2022 at 11:00 hours.
