| Description | INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS RFP FOR PROCUREMENT OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION AND ALLIED ACTIVITIES INCLUDING VERIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR?S INVOICES AND TESTING & COMMISSIONING OF 220 KV DOUBLE CIRCUIT TWIN BUNDLE OVERHEAD TRANSMISSION LINE FROM SHEIKHUPURA GRID STATION TO BUND ROAD GRID STATION (28 KM ON RAIL CONDUCTOR). 1) National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) is a corporate entity, constituted after restructuring of Power Wing of Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA). NTDC operates and maintains the extra high-voltage power transmission system of 500kV and 220 kV in Pakistan. NTDC intends to engage consultant to carry out ?CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION AND ALLIED ACTIVITIES INCLUDING VERIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR?S INVOICES AND TESTING & COMMISSIONING OF 220 KV DOUBLE CIRCUIT TWIN BUNDLE OVERHEAD TRANSMISSION LINE FROM SHEIKHUPURA GRID STATION TO BUND ROAD GRID STATION (28 KM ON RAIL CONDUCTOR).? NTDC invites proposal to provide the consultancy services from local consultant firms/JV (NCB) meeting PEC Standard Guidelines criteria for above works. 2) NTDC requires the services of competent consulting firms with the appropriate capabilities and experience to execute services. A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and procedures described in this RFP. 3) RFP Documents, containing detailed terms and conditions, etc. are available at below mentioned address with effect from 28th May, 2022 during office hours:- 08:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) 08:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. (Friday) Chief Engineer (Material Procurement & Management), NTDC 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road Lahore, Pakistan, Telephone No. 92-42-99202597, E-mail : cempm@ntdc.com.pk 4) A Pre-Proposal meeting will take place on the date, time and place as follows: Date: 07th June, 2022 Time: 11:00am (Pakistan Standard Time) Place: 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore. 5) Price of the Request for Proposals is PKR 3,000/- (Pak Rupees three thousand only). The method of payment for purchase of RFP will be in the form of pay order, bank draft or banker?s/cashier?s cheque in favor of Chief Engineer (MP&M) NTDC. The documents may be collected in person or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of Rs. 1,000/- for domestic delivery. The documents may be sent by courier services. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery in such case. RFP Documents can also be downloaded from http://ntdc.gov.pk/tendors free of cost. However, purchase of the document prior to proposal submission deadline is mandatory for participation. 5) The Proposals prepared in accordance with the instructions in the RFP must reach at address mentioned at Sr. No. 3 above, on or before 14th June, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The technical proposals will be opened the same day at 11:30 a.m. Financial proposals of only technically qualified firms shall be opened.
